Current role (2012-Present):

Dr Lucy Russell is clinical director at Everlief Child Psychology. She is responsible for overseeing the clinic and is safeguarding lead. Dr Russell’s clinical work consists of multi-disciplinary autism and ADHD assessments and follow-up therapeutic support.

Previous Roles:

2009-2012: Programme Lead, Reading Multi-Dimensional Treatment Foster Care Programme (joint initiative between Reading CAMHS and Reading social services).

2009-2015: Visiting Tutor, University of Oxford Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology (now known as Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training and Research).

2006-2009: Specialist Clinical Psychologist, Windsor & Maidenhead CAMHS (child & adolescent mental health service). Dr Russell undertook general clinical assessments and therapeutic work, and supervision of trainee and assistant psychologists. Dr Russell led the Autism Spectrum Transition and Integration Service, a team supporting families of recently diagnosed autistic children in mainstream schools.

2002-2005: Clinical Psychologist in Training, University of Oxford and Oxfordshire Mental Healthcare NHS Trust (now known as Oxford Health).

Dr Lucy Russell is a UK child psychologist in Buckinghamshire, England.

Dr Russell completed her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2005 (University of Oxford) and has worked in settings with children and families ever since, both in the National Health Service and private practice.

Dr Russell runs Everlief Child Psychology in Buckinghamshire with her husband Mike Russell. Everlief is one of the largest independent child psychology clinics in the UK.

Dr Russell has a specialism in autism, including assessments and therapeutic work. In her therapeutic work she uses an integrative model including cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
